The trick is, if they get water underneath, then they'll ruin the paint when
the sun comes out (the paint will be ruined with light splotches, take a
look at a car that has had a car bra on it semi-permanently, and you can see
what happens.
I'm a dedicated cover user, they are excellent for sun and dust protection,
but are not intended to keep the car dry. Although I've had cars sitting
covered in hard rain storms with the windows opened and no rain gets in and
My B doesn't get rain in the usual cracks above the windows, etc with the
cover on,
