<<Couple of question on the Petronix Ignitor install.
- When you install it, do you need the engine at Top-Center?
**No.
- Are there any tricks to the actual install -- i.e., just pull the points
and condenser, then slip the ignitor in?
**Yes, fix the pick up to the plate with the screw, slip the sleeve over the
top of the cam, and put your rotor back on. The only trick is to make sure the
rotor clears the pickup (some old ones with lots of overhang won't), and that
the rotor isn't raised up too high so that it hits the cap. If it does, take
it off and reduce it's height by running it over some sandpaper.
