F Goodrich in size 5.60-l4 for $88.00. These in Dunlap would have been
ofered as an option on very early MGB's. By l970 everyone had made the
switch to radial blackwalls.Bias ply Wide whitewalls are the most
negelected part of restorations in which originality is the goal. Would you
put Mags and radials on a Duesenberg or wood spoke brass car. If these are
for your 1970 B ,I would not switch. You will be dissapointed with the
handling , cornering ( 10 mph less) and rapid rate of ware (20,000 miles
tops) of Bias ply. If this is for an early car it will make all the
difference in looks, drawing your attention to the wheels and raising ride
height.
