John,
Check the 3rd fuse down from the top. This should be the GREEN wire on the
output side. Check for voltage at connections on both sides. The WHITE wire
with BROWN tracer that feeds this fuse could also be the culprit. The fuse
may have blown also. If that's the case there's more work to do to find the
short.
I had a similar problem that turned out to be dirty connections on the fuse
box.
