Be warned. This sort of encouragement can backfire. I got my wife into 
fast cars by buying her an obscenely fast Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi, which she 
loves.
However, we've just had a Boxster for a few days and she was worryingly 
impressed by this, much more so than any other car I've borrowed. Now, 
where can I get 35 grand from by her next birthday? 8-)
BTW. Just to piss everyone off, We've just spend a day on an old airbase 
with five souped-up MGFs, including the supercharged Cheetah, as well as 
the aforementioned Porsche. Lots of fun!
