I don't know about replacing the distributor because of the carbs.
I have a '70 with the HIFs. I was working on my distributor receintly a=
nd noticed that you can't
buy the 25D distrubtor from VB anymore. They suggest using the 45. Thi=
s with no mention
of replacing the carbs. Since the newer distributor appears to work fin=
e with the older carbs, I would expect
than the newer carbs would also work with the older distributor...
I may be wrong however.
