I take it back. Just got the new Moss catalog today, and was glad to
see that they no longer give generic prices to phantom OOS MG parts.
What they started doing last year was suddenly put list prices on long
out-of-stock items in their price lists, giving the impression that
these rarities were now back in the inventory. Not only were the
prices too good to be true, but when you called in your order you
would suddenly get informed that they were still OOS.
I found this misleading, if not a blatantly sharp practice, and I'm
glad to see they ceased it. Was anybody else bothered by this, and did
anybody complain too?
