Regarding oil filters

        Gerard is right, the easiest thing to do if you just want a spin on 
filter
is to put on the adaptor base for the spin on.  There are remote adaptors
which racers use in conjunction with an oil cooler, but this requires some
plumbing and additional cost.  Mini Mania and Winners Circle have all the
bits for this endeavour.
