Spark Plug Wires

Greetings . . . .

Is there anything magic about spark plug wires?  My '70 GT has less than
60,000 miles and I suspect the spark plug wires are original.  I'm thinking
of replacing them as a preventive measure.  What do you all out there
recommend?  I assume there are different gauge wires, materials, etc.
