Might any of you knowledgible folk be able to advise me regarding the proper shock oil for use in armstrong lever arm shocks. One of the national rebuilders advises that they use hydraulic jack oil, 15 to 30 weight, from the auto parts store, in their rebuilds. All I can find is 10 wt. locally. Is that ok. How about for competition use. Don't I want heavier weight? Sources? Thanks, John Roper |
