Bill,
I have a group 26 525 CCA battery in my '61 coupe and had no problems
fitting it. I got mine at Farm & Fleet. The first battery lasted about 7
years. I'm still on the 3rd or 4th year for the last battery. It is a
tight squeeze to get it past the frame and body. But when it is in
place, no problem.
