Dashpot piston screw threads stripped?

Slight problem, when I gun the throttle really hard
on the 1970 B one of the dashpot pistons pops out. I guess
the threads are a little worn because it goes in fine and
seems tight but just doesn't hold when the pistons come
up with a vengeance.

  Is there a good quick fix? (like there ever is)
