short or long block assemblies

Does anyone know of a good supplier for short or long blocks for MGB.  A
friend has a 73 that looks kind of like a cropduster when he drives it and
is considering all options.  Also, if anyone ever installed a sleeve kit in
a block and would be willing to divulge the trials and tribulations of doing
this, please respond.
