Hi Ross,

I don't have any experience with their new starter, but i did buy one
of their new replacement alternators last year. it was made in china or
tiawan and definately not up to the quality of the old alternator.

I found that Advance Auto has rebuilt Lucas starters for around $80
and they guarantee them for life. I figured that was a pretty good deal.
Another gent in my MG club found a Brake master cylinder for the dual
line midget brake system there for around $40. if you have one near by
they are definately worth checking out. It can be hit or miss, but you
can find a few bargains there.

Take care,

Robert
