Saw pre-war MG for sale

Saw an pre-war MG for sale at Jack Hunt's in San Rafael, CA.  Not sure if 
it's a P or J type.  (I have trouble identifying anything older than an 
MGA) It was a light green color, right-hand drive, and through the window 
of their showroom, looked pretty good.  Thought I'd just pass it along 
for anyone was interested.  They also had a pretty cool Messerschmidt.
