Faire. I have been wondering how I am going to use those. I have all the
hardware install including the bolts on behind the seats. HOW DO YOU USE
THE SEATBELT WITHOUT HAVING TO DISCONNECT IT EACH TIME YOU WANT TO PUT
UP THE TOP? Am I missing something. The belt will be in the way of
the top wont it. Is their a quick disconnect or what. Any ideas from
<someone that has these belts.
Well, in an attempt to avoid that problem, I ran the shoulder harness
to a point below the pivot point for the top. The result is that the
shoulder harness falls off your shoulder. Completely unsatisfactory.
And I've now made a useless hole inside the wheelwell! :-(
I'd suggest the clip fasteners and just unclip it to raise the top.
Putting up the top is such an ordeal, anyway, what's a little more
inconvenience? Or better yet, never put the top up!
I have noticed that since I bought my belts, MOSS now has added
a disrecommendation of their 3-point belts for MGA's...
