Hello all,
I intend to repaint my old wire rims this summer. I seem to remember
somebody
saying that wire wheels are a different animal from disc wheels when it comes
to
painting. I planned on spending a few days sandblasting the buggers, then
spraying
them silver. Is this OK? I know I'll freeze up my spokes, is there any way
around
this? (I'm also thinking of shipping the wheels out to that place in CA
"British wire
wheel" or whatever. If I hit the lotto.) Any tips from the pros would be
appreciated.
