Just a WAG (wild ass guess) Spin them at the same speed and see which one spins longest. One is bound to have more mass around the outside and therefore spin longer/faster (the ice skater phenomenon...arms out slow spin arms in fast spin. same weight etc.) I'd say gold would spin longer.
