You are correct. Actually when I set them all next to each other (not
mounted) the 60s where about an inch and a half shorter. I went with
taller tires for two reasons. 1) the difference in size would throw
off the speedometer (right?) and 2) with some of the rough streets
around here, I need all the ground clearance I can get. I'm sure that
the 60s would corner a little better (but exhaust systems aren't cheap).
