When I had my 1275 rebuilt, I had the builder do an 'unleaded head' job on it, but only because it was already apart and was going to be rebuilt anyway. It didn't cost much extra (I don't remember the exact numbers), but figured it couldn't hurt. He said that the old valves looked ok, and that about 20ish years of unleaded fuel hadn't appeared to cause any problems. CTP |
