Blake,
My 70 MGB has only one decal on the valve cover and it's on the
right side. My engine number is 18GH-WE-H29758, VIN# is
GHN5UA197861 G. Date stamped on driver door plate is 1/70.
The sticker can be found in the Victoria British Ltd. MG.35
catalog on page 52, item 18. The decal reads:
"B.M.C. E.P.A.I. ENGINE EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL
FOR MAX EFFICIENCY THESE SETTINGS MUST BE
MAINTAINED IDLE R.P.M (HOT)-900 R.P.M. IGNITION
TIMING AT 1000 R.P.M. VACUUM REMOVED 20 B.T.D.C.
CARBURETTER MIXTURE TO BE ADJUSTED BY AN
APPROVED SERVICE STATION TO B.M.C. MANUAL"
Hope this helps,
Glenn Williams
