I understand that dropping the shaft removes any strain on the gearbox. I have towed both of my MGs with a tow dolly and never have dropped the shaft and have had zero trouble with them. I had to make sure and keep my speed down and someone told me to find a way to keep the gearbox lubed. The last big tow I did was last Oct from Hershey PA to my home in KY, about a nine hour drive and the TD came out fine. Just my two cents worth. THANKS! MIKE R -- MZ |
