I have heard people complain that the check valve malfunctions and the oil 
drains out of the filter giving you a no oil pressure period every time you 
startup. I have not had any problem with them however. A lot of people use 
Wik (sp) which are also sold under the NAPA name brand.

What is wrong with Fram oil filters? Has anyone had bad experiences with 
Fram
filters?
