Hi All!

It's been a long time, but I'm back...

I'm STILL chasing down the lean in my '65 Sprite. The frame shop says
the car is straight, I have rebuilt the front end, and am working on the
rear. First inspection showed that the 3-year old leaf springs have 2
broken leaves on one side, 1 on the other. Needless to say, I'm not
exactly happy with Moss. I talked to Tom Colby at Speedwell, and they
have springs built locally to their spec. Unfortunately, he's out of
stock for the next month or so.

Anyone else have similar experiences with springs? Any other suppliers
that have good quality springs? I don't race, and just want a nice,
level car...

Does anyone in the SF bay area have a cheap pair of semi-elliptic rear
springs for a Spridget that they'd care to part with for, say, under $35?
I need something I can drive on until Speedwell gets some more in.

Thanks!
