Came across this car for sale. The owner is Joe Gibbs of Platsburg,
Missouri (20 miles north of Kansas City). He is a KCMG Club Member and I
can vouch for him if not the car.
Anyway, it is a 1980 MGB roadster with overdrive. The poor thing is
painted Blaze Red (Orange) and seemed presentable. The repaint could
stand some color sanding and polish. I looked at the car in a dim garage
and didn't hear it run (dead battery) but from a cursory examination it
looked pretty good. No obvious rust, the top was serviceable, the
interior looked good. Needs tires. After market mags. Can't vouch for
the motor but Joe said it runs okay.
