Today at the Memphis British Car/Motorcycle
show (which was very nice) I took a look at
the window sticker from an 80 MGB LE.
I was amazed at the price: just a tad over
$9000. This was with the LE package ($600)
and overdrive ($300). This car also had
a/c but I don't remember if it was on the
sticker. It just seemed a bit expensive.
Also the sticker showed EPA mileage at
16mpg. Is this correct? (I know this is
the same EPA that took 20hp from the
MGB also). It just seemed kinda low
as I get mileage in the high 20s on the
highway (OD) in my 76.
