I noticed a post about this topic today, or late yesterday, and haven't seen
any responses yet. My 74 BGT does this too, some times quite violently. I
upped the octane in the gas from regular, to plus<--89 octane. And that
seemed to cure it most of the time, but, occasionally I will still get
dieseling, I am wondering if it's a bad thing?? I would be using super<--93
or whatever, but, it being my daily driver, and being a 2 litre engine, it
tends to suck the gas pretty fast, of course, I think the fuel gauge sender
is bad, it only fills up to 3/4 tank...Anyways, does everyone recommend high
octane plus octane additive?? Or is it a fule delivery problem??
Thanks!!! Wiz 74 1/2 MGBGT
