It's most likely the difference between those nice, new, chrome wire
wheels of yours and the 66's slightly worn wires that you are feeling.
There is not a difference in ride from a 72 vs. 66 given the same wear.
By the way, where you been? Try to get to Vanderbilt in 2 weeks.
