1). Before anyone out there says `but you said....'; NO - of course you
cannot simply plop a T/C head on a standard `B' series block. The twin
cam engine as a whole was a very special unit - one of the reasons it
died.
2). Twin cams in MGB's at the factory in 1962? I think not. The twin-cam
was already a dead duck long before then. By that stage, they were
already thinking of the five main bearing 'B series (required for the
front wheel drive ADO17 Austin/Morris 1800 - a sort of Mega-Mini never
exported to the USA) and had consigned both the twinkie and the
Longbridge V4/V6 engine programme/program to the dustbin/trashcan.
