Last Sunday was MG day at the Boston Museum of Transportation (Larz
Anderson). I happened to run into Rick Smith, MG guru and machinist
extraordinairre. Do to a change in domestic situations he has had to
sell off a lot of LBC's and parts. He gave me the following list of
things that he's hoping to find homes for:
1973 MGBGT Project car. Good motor and transmission. Disc wheeled, Needs
front fenders, rockers & typical floorv work (Restoration project) $800.
1959 BugEye Sprite - Complete except seats are not original. Partially
disassembled. Restoration project car. $1500.
? MGA 1500 "A runner" Excellent frame. Wire Wheeled. Restoration
project. Good runner, drive it home. $4500.
1967 MGBGT Rough, but complete. Wire wheeled $800.
1955 MGTF 1500. Basket case. $5500.

The usual disclaimers apply, but I can say that Rick has run the NEMGTR
Safety Fast Inspection since its inception. He is a person of the
highest integrity.

BTW, at the show there were 4 MGBV8's, none original. Two were
beautifully done. one was quite neat, the other was 'installed'.
