First, you need to make sure your battery terminals are clean and
secure. If they are not, then no amount of charging will help. If a
jump start gets the car running, then it probably is the battery. Take
it to a reliable auto parts store. Most will test them for free, on the
assumption that you will buy a new one from them. I said "reliable" for
the above reason.
