<< I started a thread a while back about my broken fuel pump. After finding

manufacture this is what I have come up with.
AC fuel pump Patent Number 32730856, part number 12V EP12
Manufactured 8-81
Dupree fuel pump Patent number 32730856 part number 12V 840 Manufactured
7-80 made by Wabro Corp
Called a Walbro distributor and they say the cross reference for the
12V 840 is a WEP 42, and says they are on back order but should see them
by Sep. Retail is $89 says he can sell them for $52
Anybody have a place they can cross reference any of this or maybe find
the owner of the patent. Its not a US patent that I can find, it has one
too many numbers. I would bet its a British patent.

Randy,
I've got a Walbro pump in my MGA. I purchased it from the V. E. Petersen Co.
in Walbridge, Ohio. My unit is the WEP12 that sold for around $65 in 1995.
The WEP42 was around the same price.
The WEP12 puts out 4.5 to 7 psi, the WEP42 puts out 2.5 to 4.5 psi. Both are
12 volt.
Try calling them at 1-800-537-6212 this may be their customer service number
but they can direct you to sales.
The phone number for Walbro Automotive is 1-517-673-7727, if the Petersen
number is not helpful, the Walbro people may be able to direct you to another
distributor.
Cross references:
Walbro WEP42 = Autopulse #2240 or Dupree #840
Walbro WEP12 = Autopulse #2101 or Dupree #801
Hope this helps,
Scott Helms
