In the Trans, use Redline MTL 75/80(sae30) Manual trans lube,(synthetic).
It is made for that specific use. It has no negative impact on the O/D.
As far as your Dif., If it is whining, then there is mechanical problems.
No oil will cure that. You could opt for a 75/140 wt. Redline also makes
this for Diferentals.
