I'm not sure myself why the web site has that message on it. I sent (FedEx)
photos that should be up and checked the site myself. You're right...it was
closed.
I spoke with my volunteer webmaster and thought the deal was resolved, but
when I was able to jump on another T1 line in Anchorage the site was still
not up properly. The old pages are there, they just aren't linked together.
Kelly does seem to be posting the more recent messages on the site, however.
I probably won't know more until I return home at the end of this month.
Surfing is expensive, and this is the first time in 10 days I have had my
hands on the notebook computer here. We're either too busy, or Mons.
Gaylord is busy typing his mail. ;-) And of course, there's still the
problem with access. I have logged in only a couple of times because of the
expense of calling long distance -- especially from Canada. I expect we will
be receiving mail on Wednesday, 7/9, and again when we get to Denver on
Friday or Saturday.
I requested and received a couple of hours to do my own mail this evening. I
learned that it is most helpful to be carrying all the Canadian cash while
we are in Canada... offers an incredible amount of bargaining power to the
'mix'!! ;-) And we are about 300 miles north of Seattle, still in British
Columbia. Gotta' love it!! ;-)
