Well, yes but in some ways no.
It's out of date compared to modern fuel injection systems. But
most of those who retrofit FI to older cars want to use simpler
systems to make installation easier. Not having a crank position
sensor for example, makes installing modern systems tough.
Many fuel injection installations in our cars involve basically
fitting a junkyard Bosch system from the 80s. The book covers
these systems well.
