One of the first bits of advice I was given about my B was never to jump start it with the alternator connected. Unplug it when you jump start, or you will ruin it. Anyone else ever hear of this? Could it be true? If so, the folks at the garage may have ruined the alternator when they jumped it. The best jump start is a car that works! Jack I have a mind like a steel sieve! |
