Agreed that direct injection is better in about every way,
but the grunt work is a bit more.
One that comes to mind is that you need to develop a
throttle. Throttle bodies obviously have throttles, and
proper mounting for the air flow meter and so on.
So you need to graft on a throttle with TPS. Agreed, not
a really daunting task, but it is more work.
