Another way to install the rubber bump-stops( and other rubber items that
install in a similar manner), is to lube the small end (that goes in the
hole), then take a piece of stout twine, wrap it around the small
diameter, feed the ends of the twine through the hole, then pull the
bump-stop through. It may help to apply pressure to the top of the stop.
This is more easily accomplished with the help of a friend. Sometimes one
pair of hands can't apply enough force. After the stop is in place, pull
one end of the twine to remove.
