One of the several advantages of having a few years on your odometer is
that you learn not to worry much about what others think. And just as
that spirit of liberation settles on you, your kids start trying to get
you to conform to their ideas of what a "proper" older person should and
should not do.
Tell them to shut up. Wear purple. Drive an MG.
