My info shows engine oil.  The only way to check is to do a stretch test
on a fastener using both WD 40, and engine oil.  If the fastener
stretches the same amount using WD 40, then it's ok to use.  If the
fastener doesn't stretch as much, then you either switch to engine oil,
or keep torquing until the fastener stretches enough, and note the
increased torque (not the best idea, IMHO).
