I've never tried it, but a buddy in my local Club, painted his 74 BGT with
(are you ready for this?) Krylon.
Believe it or not, the thing looked pretty dang good. Passed the "10 ft"
test with flying colors (pun intended). I think he told me he had about 15
cans of Krylon on the color coat.
Oh, to add "insult to injury", he had to sell the BGT to make room for a
Lotus Elan. Managed to find a DPB (Dumb Potiential Buyer) and made a deal for
$6000.
(why can't I find these "more money than sense" people when I need one)
