Is this the same guy who sought the sympathy of the list
48 hours ago because he felt he couldn't get treated as
an adult?

Kai, take this as complement, or insult, but you remind me
of myself at your age. I had the same problems, computer
business going, always upset by not getting fair business
treatment from adults, felt it was unjust, and so on. Could
not get attention unless my father was there, the whole
thing.

At the time, like you do, I felt I was as mature as
anyone. I could carry on conversations with adults just like
you do, contribute information just like you can, and so
on.

But as has been mentioned before, what is missing is
the balance, the tact, and the stability. I learned later
on that I didn't have it when I was young, didn't have it
then either, and still don't have as much of it as I should.

If you felt you wanted to take a strip out of somebody
who has insulted you, you have to stoop to their level. I'm
as ready for that as the next guy, but you don't have to
post it for all to see. (Although I admit I am posting this
publically without absolute necessity).

If a fistfight breaks out at an MG show, you don't win
the respect of the crowd by winning the fight, you lose it
for being involved at all. The list is no different.

Being a businessman, I also agree with those who did
not give you the contracts because of your age. It's not
fair, but they have a business to protect, and youth does
not breed the stability and maturity that business like
mine need in subcontractors. We contract work out to get
it done without headaches. The ease of contract administration
is as important as the final product, don't forget that
for a minute.

Case in point, you went from praising and cheering MGs
and being the biggest list proponent, to posting your car
for sale in frustration. This in a couple of days.
