Hello Tony I have a 66 MGB I am reconditioning. Got tiried of looking for a early MGB overdrive. Solved the problem. Install a 77 MGB overdrive. Change the backing plate, install late model starter, and bolted up the late model overdrive. Have only to open the shifter hole by two inches.. The tunnel is wide enough. Also using a delco alterator. This Mark 1 MGB will look organial, but will take you where you need to go at high way speed and more. JOHN Flintstone British Restoration |
