Yup, successfully did a '73 "B" last January.

Not by yourself it isn't!! Unless you've got four arms that drag on the
ground when you go for a walk... with two people, it's manageable.

We had to "crack" open the fascia/dash, but didn't actually remove it.
This job had been done by the c.p.o., using something that quit sealing
when it dried out. Icy cold drops of water on your forehead, ankles,
and if you went over 60 mph in the rain, onto your nuts.
Go to your local auto glass replacement outfit, and buy a couple of
tubes of the INDUSTRIAL SEALANT applicable to this type of window.
Don't sweat the price of the sealant; they use it because it works...
Clean up the frame, and the rubber, and don't spare the sealant when you
go to install the new glass. Use whatever solvent the glass outfit
recommends for the clean up, and bask in the glory of a job well done.
