I am trying to "restore" a 1976 MGB. I am not skilled in any kind of
mechanics, but so far I have solved some minor problems with the electrical
system, i.e. turn signals, etc. I don't want to pay someone $300-$400 every
time to replace hoses and what not. Besides I live in the Nashville,
Tennessee area and there are not many places for MG repair. In light of all
this I have been trying to get as much information as possible about my MG,
but everything I find is so general.
Can anyone tell me where to find more specific information besides the
Haynes manuals. For instance right now I am trying to get the emmisions
under control. Currently my '76 does not have an air pump or an air
temperature control device. It runs great and gets good gas milage, but the
emmissions are a little off. Is there any place I can go to find out if this
stuff is very important for my '76 or if it is just one of those things that
was put on for one model but not the next?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Bryan Moseley
