Steve,
The vent drain is most like likely clogged . There is a bulb like end
on the vent drain tube and it needs to be cleaned periodically. The
bulb is designed with a slit at the bottom where the the water can seep
thru but fumes from engine compartment can not enter the tube and thus
find their way into cockpit thru vents. You will need to access the
bulb from beneath car and polk around the inside of bulb thru slit
with a screw driver or like object to loosen the accumulated depry.
You may also want to check the condition of the windscreen wiper
gaskets where the wiper housing contacts the body. This is another
common water entry area. Good Luck, hope to see you at a club meet
