To all, I like to tinker with my 72 MGB. I changed the carbs to Weber downdrafts and the gas mileage went down the crapper. Any step by step help for a novice? I was getting 20-25 mpg. now 10-15. I installed a gas flow regulator. Timing seems about right. plugs at .36. Exhaust is a little black when starting. What is the proper air/fuel mixture? If this keeps up you may see gas lines again due to a nationwide gas shortage! Thanks, Rick |
