Paul,
I was just about to suggest the same thing! I was reading the Haynes car
detailing book a couple of weeks ago while my wife was looking for nursing
books at our favorite book store, and ir recommends the eact same procedure
only they recommend using a sponge and placing the car out of direct
sunlight! Don't know about the sun thing since you have experieince with
this and I don't (chrome bumpers and painted bumpers on the family car) but
thought I would pass it on.
