Rich, I never thought of the needle and seat as wear items either. After
trying everything else including new shafts to lean out my carbs, I
bought new needles/seats. The difference was amazing. For the first time
ever, I was able to adjust the carbs to run correctly. Hopefully you
will have the same experience.
