Hi All
I am relatively new to the list, although I have been lurking for a while and
enjoying the digest.
I recently purchased a 1962(?) MGA 1600 MkI coupe which needs a fair amount of
body restoration, although engine and chassis look reasonably sound.
I am in the process of finishing my first restoration (a T****ph Sp**f**e)
which is now +/- 98% complete and hope to turn my attention to Maggie (The Iron
Lady) within the next few months.
I would like to ask the collective wisdom of the list as to how easy (or
difficult) is it to remove the body panels eg. the front and rear wings so as
to do the necessary body repairs and replace or refurbish the piping between
the wings and the main body, and what precautions may be necessary.
I should perhaps add that I will probably get someone to do the panel repairs
and spray painting for me as I don't have the expertise, but I will do as much
of the work as I can myself.
Any suggestions, advice, etc. will be welcomed
Regards
